Rosario R. Trifiletti, M.D. Ph.D.
Child Neurology

Our practice was founded in September 2009.
Although our dreams are big, we are starting small
Besides myself, the staff consists of my wife of almost 20 years , Eileen Trifiletti (nee McNamara) who is a Columbia-trained nurse practitioner, who also worked for a number of years as a school nurse for the Village School for Children in Waldwick, NJ.
However you contact us, you will be speaking to Eileen or myself, directly to a health care professional. The actual consultation is performed by Dr. Trifiletti.
We are conveniently located in Ramsey, NJ, directly across from the Interstate Shopping Center. We offer extended hours on weekdays, offer Saturday hours, and accept same-day appointments (based on availability).
OFFICE HOURS (by appointment)
MONDAY-FRIDAY 8 AM - 8 PM
SATURDAY 3 PM - 8 PM
POLICIES
1. We accept payment at the time of service only. This allows us to keep our fees at the lowest possible levels and allows us to treat patients whether or not they have insurance. We think this model is simple and fair to all. You do not have to worry about referrals or deal with insurance companies.
2. Fees - for medical services - by the hour - $400/hr in 15 min increments of direct doctor to patient time. A routine follow-up of a routine problem, such as ADHD, will frequently be $100. We accept cash, check, and Visa/MasterCard/Discover.
3. NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY BECAUSE OF INABILITY TO PAY. We understand that these are financially trying times and we will work something out with you on an individual basis.
4. If you must cancel or reschedule, please give us 24 hrs notice. We understand that this is not always possible; we apply a "three strikes and you're out rule" here, however.
5. Even if you come to see us "on your own" and not on the recommendation of your pediatrician, we will contact and work closely with your pediatrician in coordinating the care of your child.
6. We will assist you in scheduling and obtaining insurance pre-approval for any diagnostic tests, such as EEG or MRI that may be recommended.
